Leader of Infrastructure and General Services

The Leader of Infrastructure and General Services directs all institutional infrastructure, facilities, and operational support functions. They oversee construction, maintenance, procurement, purchasing/receiving, mail, security, and reception. Working with the CFO and COO, they set policies, ensure compliance, manage risk, and optimize resources. The role drives sustainability initiatives and leads emergency preparedness, including FEMA/CDBG projects, safety protocols, disaster recovery, and crisis response.

Requisitos:
 Requirements:
 Requires a Master’s degree in a related field or a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Architecture, with at least eight years of leadership experience in infrastructure, facilities operations, procurement, or administrative services, preferably in higher education. Expertise in construction management, capital projects, sustainability, facilities management, safety compliance, and risk mitigation. Experience in procurement, vendor negotiations, and contract administration. Knowledge of regulatory compliance, environmental policies, and federal funding. Strong skills in emergency management and institutional resilience. Proficiency in relevant software, certifications preferred, valid Puerto Rico license, teamwork, and bilingual in English and Spanish.
