Project Manager – Network Engineer

The candidate must possess good skills in project management, organization, documentation, and working well with others. The ability to follow-through and drive tasks and projects to completion as Project-Lead is key to be successful in this position. Candidate must also demonstrate that they successfully worked as technical leaders in a team environment. This is a hands-on position that requires working in a team, creating project plans, tracking progress, and reporting progress to others. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to deliver solid project implementations which excel technically and logistically.

 Experience with *24 x 7 data center environments *Telco and network infrastructure; data center level core switching; firewalls; routers; WAN *Virtualization of servers *LAN Administration Experience with the following is a plus but not required: Controller based Wireless infrastructure Unified communications (IP PBX) DEGREE A B.S in Computer Science is preferred. INTANGIBLES The candidate must take great pride in maintaining a philosophy of how IT systems should be run in order to provide long-term stable services to the company. The candidate should not settle for solutions that are just “good enough” but instead perform the best possible job with the available resources and consider how the solution may affect the company in the long run. They should have a demonstrated ability to understand and work with a wide variety of technologies that would normally require formal training courses.
