Antilles Power Depot is seeking an experienced Transmission Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair transmission systems in trucks and heavy equipment.
*Diagnose transmission performance issues and identify necessary repairs.
*Inspect, repair, replace, and service transmission components.
*Perform preventive maintenance, fluid changes, adjustments, and operational testing.
*Troubleshoot related mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
*Use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to complete repairs.
*Document work performed, parts used, and service recommendations.
*Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
*Coordinate with the service team to complete repairs efficiently and minimize downtime.

*Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing transmissions. *Experience working with trucks or heavy equipment. *Knowledge of automatic transmissions and related hydraulic and electronic controls. *Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagnostic information. *Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and dependable work habits. *Technical training in automotive or diesel mechanics preferred. *Allison transmission experience or training preferred.
