Set on the northwest corner of a classic midcentury building on Avenida Miramar, this eighth-floor residence is shaped by a sophisticated renovation, exceptional natural light and a beautifully proportioned interior. Built in 1962, Miramar 656 maintains its original character while incorporating significant upgrades, including a full-power generator, water cistern, renovated lobby and two modern elevators. The front door gives way to an ample foyer and an open floor plan that feels composed, bright and effortless. Light streams in from three exposures and large glass windows reveal tropical greenery and far-reaching views of Miramar, San Juan Bay and the Atlantic beyond. Water views are visible from every room in the home, giving the apartment a welcome sense of openness. Renovated in 2024 in collaboration with an architect, the space features updated flooring, sleek finishes, modern appliances and mini-split ACs throughout. The distinct areas of the home flow naturally into one another, while retaining a clear sense of separation and purpose. Lighting, curtains, plants, artwork and textiles complement the architecture throughout the space, resulting in a home that feels cohesive and intentional. This contemporary residence is set within a condominium that feels distinctly Miramar. Tropical architecture, terrazzo flooring and breeze blocks give the building a residential character that is increasingly uncommon in newer construction. Thoughtful design, modern amenities and a walkable setting come together at this residence that feels both polished and highly livable.
