• Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports • Oversee the school's annual budgeting process and assist departments with budget tracking and analysis • Ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of tuition and other receivables • Coordinate and support the annual audit, including preparation of audit schedules and working with external auditors • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements • Support financial planning and forecasting efforts • Maintain internal controls and recommend improvements to ensure financial integrity and prevent fraud • Manage cash flow and banking relationships • Assist with tuition setting, financial aid reporting, and grant accounting as needed.

Requisitos:
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). • 5+ years of experience in accounting, with nonprofit or school experience highly desirable. • Strong understanding of nonprofit GAAP and fund accounting. • Proficiency in accounting software. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial staff. • High level of integrity and a commitment to the mission of education
