Project Accountant

Resposable for the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate reporting and strict compliance with federal funds (2 CFR 200). Key Responsibilities: Accounting Management: Full cycle ownership, reconciliations, monthly closings, and accounts payable/receivable management. Grants Compliance: Financial oversight of subrecipients, invoice review, and guidance on allowable costs. Budgetary Control: Burn rate monitoring, variance analysis, and alignment with PSI requirements. Audit Readiness: Maintaining files ready for internal and external audits.

Requisitos:
 Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. 2–5+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit or grant-funded environment preferred). Experience in project-based accounting and multi-funding environments preferred. Strong understanding of federal grants and 2 CFR 200 (preferred). Experience with fund accounting systems (MIP preferred).
