The network administrator is responsible for maintaining the networks and systems that keep our organization running. From maintaining security to supervising network updates and training users, the administrator is not only IT support but also the thread that connects all operations. Deep technological expertise with a wide range of computer systems, hardware, and software is essential for the network administrator to excel in this role and help drive our organization forward.

 Required skills and qualifications ? Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts and computing infrastructures ? Proven skills in network engineering, operations, and performance analysis ? Experience with leading server management and monitoring tools ? Strong communication skills for training and assisting users ? Proven experience as network technician or relevant position ? Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills ? Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies ? Hands-on experience with common software and hardware ? Experience with virtualization, including deployment and administration Preferred skills and qualifications ? 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position ? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field ? Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Office 365 ? Experience with Cisco and Fortinet switches and routers ? Consistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance ? Create, adjust, and maintain network user settings and permissions ? Write technical support documentation for network systems and applications ? Design and install well-functioning computer networks, connections and cabling for customers ? Inspect customer LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs ? Test and configure software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices ?
