Job Summary
The School Psychologist plays a critical role in supporting the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral well-being of students by providing psychological assessments, individual counseling, and consultation services within the school setting. This professional works collaboratively with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to identify student needs, recommend evidence-based interventions, and coordinate follow-up care. The School Psychologist must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to the healthy development of children and adolescents in an educational environment.

Requirements
Education: Master’s degree or Doctorate (Ed.S., Psy.D., or Ph.D.) in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
Certifications and license: Valid Puerto Rico license or certification as a Psychologist or School Psychologist (required).
English level: Fully bilingual: Spanish & English (Advanced level).
Professional Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with case documentation systems.
Competencies:
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills within a school context.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to build trusting, professional relationships with students, families, and school staff.
