We are seeking a Leave of Absence Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee leave and absence, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Responsible to send FMLA, STD and LTD packages to claimants within established timeframes and documentation standards. Complete STD/LTD claims evaluation/administrative process (telephone communications, non-determination, denials, approval, medical documentation request letters, etc.), in support of case management process for the assigned account(s). Assure immediate issue resolution or follow up on a need basis until closure, and compliance with assigned Client’s program requirements and business objectives.

Requisitos Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Fully Bilingual.
Two (2) years experience working experience in medical disability services, human resources or similar, knowledgeable of leave regulatory requirements and medical terminology is preferred.
Proven experience providing clerical support such as: editing letters, sending letters, record keeping, filing and maintaining databases updated.
Attention to detail is required.
Knowledge of disability statutory benefits and medical terminology is a plus.
Telephonic customer service experience, preferably in call center setting.
Identify and expedite priority issues and organize and complete required tasks within established timeframes and call processing standards.
Skills:
Strong sensitivity and adherence to confidentiality standards.
Communications should be concise, respectful, professional and polite at all times. Bilingual (oral/written) in English and Spanish.
